Bach artist Conrad Herwig has transcribed seven solos capturing the genius of jazz trombonist Frank Rosolino, making excellent study for musicians of all ages and ability. An accompanying compact disc preserves the actual recordings.

The fist of twelve pages to the standard All The Things You Are showcases Rosolino's style. As described by Herwig in the accompanying analysis, note the use of sixteenth notes and triplets to vary the rhythm, rests and other inflections (grace notes, scoops, fall-offs, glissandi) to add character.

After Frank's death a scholarship was created in his name under the auspices of the International Trombone Association. The net proceeds from this project are being donated to the "Frank Rosolino Memorial Fund" and will be used to support the "Frank Rosolino Memorial Scholarship" which, through an international competition, identifies a young jazz trombonist each year and helps to jump start their professional career.
