Graduation Dates
It is critical that each student take note of dates applicable to timely graduation. You must file an application for your degree to be awarded by the date set by the Graduate School for any particular semester. You must also be registered for classes during the semester in which your degree is awarded; the degree is naturally awarded at the end of that term upon completion of all the pertinent requirements.
Mark Your Calendar
LLM students must follow two essential calendars:
- The Levin College of Law Calendar provides deadlines for course registration, drop/add and withdrawal, as well as dates for observed holidays, class meetings and exams.
- The Graduate Calendar provides dates for degree award requests, grade certification and other degree requirement certification deadlines.
It is important that you pay special attention to dates regarding
- Payment of fees
- Course registration
- Completion of course work
- Requesting graduation (degree award)
Critical Dates for LLM Students
Summer 2013: Class of 2013-2014
- Monday, July 15, 2013:
Last day to check-in with office and start check-in process with the University for timely registration.- You must clear registration holds before enrilling and registering for classes.

Summer 2013
- All Summer 2013 graduate-level degrees will be awarded at the end of Summer B/C (August 2013). Applicants will select Summer B/C 2013 on the degree application menu in ISIS. The Summer 2013 degree application will be available through ISIS in mid-March 2013.
- Students enrolled only in Summer A courses, still apply for the Summer B/C term, since graduate-level degrees are only awarded at the end of the B/C term. No graduate-level degrees are awarded at the end of Summer A (June). No late degree applications will be approved after the B/C deadline (July 3).
